My Grandfather was a tail gunner in Halifax bombers in last war but I don’t know what squadron he was in. the only info I have is that he completed 22 missions and was involved in the RAF ‘mutiny’ at the end of the war.
Has his name cropped up anywhere in any books?

He could have been sent to any one of a number of airfields in the UK. Do you not have any log books etc etc?

Out of interest… Where did he undertake his gunner training?
Not sure though, he did come from nottingham area if that helps?
