What ancillary equipment was powered by a Hampden’s right engine?

Oddly this thread has split into two. On the other part, someone has produced documentation showing that the undercarriage hydraulics are (or should that be ‘were’?) powered from the starboard engine only, and also that the undercarrage has manual and compressed air backup systems. So my hypothesis of ‘equal’ engine systems is proved false. On the other hand, it should be possible to lower the undercarriage in the event of starboard engine failure, so it is not clear from that why a crash landing should follow failure of the starboard engine.

Just a guess but I expect the accillary equipment would include a generator, vacuum pump, pneumatic pump and a hydraulic pump. With it being a twin I would expect all of these to be fitted to both engines.

I’m not sure what ancillary equipment there might be unique to that side, other than that required by the engine. The answer to your question seems to be that since the type could fly on one engine and there are published instances of starboard engine failure, ‘nothing of importance’. I speak as an amateur historian, not someone with first hand experience of the type, should you wonder. As always it would be interesting to learn if I have missed something.
