Hello
A story in the local paper about a wartime Hampden crash got me thinking.
The story says its was thought the plane was carrying a 4000lb payload.A look in a couple of books says the Hampden had a maximum payload of 4000lb.
So my question what would be the range of a Hampden carrying its full load ?

Another tragic story of two Hampdens not making it can be read:
Probably because of the wartime censor, it is difficult to put aircraft identity letters to 44 Squadron Hampdens.
