We are delighted to announce we have set up an official Hangar 11 Supporters Club. Full details of membership are now on our re-launched website at http://www.hangar11.co.uk Membership has a number of benefits and also gives access to an exclusive part of the website. This will be updated regularly with news, diary section and photos so our supporters can keep in close touch with our activities at North Weald and airshows throughout the UK & Europe. We also propose to hold an exclusive annual members day at our historic North Weald base which will allow close access to the Collections historic aircraft and give everyone the opportunity to meet Peter and the team.

We would like to wish everyone on the forum a happy new year!
For our supporters, we have a blog update now on-line with some new video footage and an early ‘heads-up’ on our 2010 airshow dates too – and yes we will be at the main Duxford BoB show in September for those who have asked 🙂
The new Hurri-bomber fleeces sold out and we have a second batch arriving this week – thanks to all who purchased this esential item of clothing!

Just to let you all know we have again updated the Supporters Club diary this afternoon with news and more photos of the progress on Spitfire PL965 and other happenings at the hangar. She is now looking decidedly ‘bare’ and finally almost devoid of paint!
We are also very pleased to announce the fantastic new Hurri-bomber embroidered fleeces – perfect for this winter weather – photos and ordering details are on the site!

I’m a ‘supporter’ but seem to have difficulty finding the videos after logging in.
Hello David – on the main page, click on the ‘More’ tab – there is a drop-down from that – then just click ‘videos’ 🙂

Sorry about my commentary…needs interviews with the ‘real people’ who maintain and fly these fantastic planes!
As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, these HD videos require a reasonably fast PC to run well and then it’s best to let the whole thing load (buffer) before hitting ‘Play’. The webs mpeg compression still ruins my careful panning shots though!

Latest diary update
We have just added this weeks hangar diary update and also put some new photos on ‘Inside Hangar 11’ showing progress on the Spitfire XI. It was nice to meet those Supporters who dropped by on Sunday during the Hurricane Event 🙂
