Hangar 11 Hurri update

8th November

4 hours of engine ground running have now been completed on our Hurri Bomber the last being at high power and was achieved without a hitch. Wings are now complete and will be prepared for painting next week. They have been trial fitted for aileron and flap rigging and are ready for final fit at North Weald.

Subject to CAA co-operation and a Certificate to Test, we hope to have her flying by middle December, a fine Xmas present for all the Hangar 11 team.

Happy days!!

The aircraft is not being rebuilt at North Weald. Hawker Restorations are rebuilding it.

Thanks for the correction Yak 11 Fan. But still my bigest respect to all who contributed to this project.

It will be an interesting sight on the back of a truck next month.
