Hanriot 320 ?

I’ve Googled for info about this aircraft but got no luck…

El Salvador Air Force operated five of these and all i have is a couple of photos.

Does anyone have information about this plane or could recommend me where to find it (book)?

Thanks!

After more than three years I have to correct my own post dating back 3rd May 2015, 13:10

This photo shows the Hanriot HD.32 prototype No. 1000 !

http://www.paluba.info/smf/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=28151.0;attach=778136;image

And it’s the same as the photo shows in the old post!

But now I guess that the aircraft I’m so long been looking for (F-AIGO) wasn’t a Hanriot 320 – rather a Hanriot HD.32 !

Well done, Martin. Now all you’ve got left to do is to find a photograph of the H.320 in French markings…………….. !

Finally got a first glimpse on Hanriot 320 c/n 1000
It’s the plane in the middle shown at Novi Sad September 4, 1926.
The Hanriot 320 prototype was in Serbia tested by the Air Force before it was registered F-AIGO in France December 29, 1926.

One cannot help, Martin, but admire your perseverance. It reminds one of the quest for the Holy Grail!

Two years later! – Made many actions inbetween to find a trace of F-AIGO – with no success!
Maybe there are new members of this forum that can help?
Would be really nice to see a photo of F-AIGO – this year?

Martin, you could try e-mailing the National Aerospace Library in Farnborough to ask whether they have a copy of either volume and, if so, whether it contains an image of F-AIGO. I was in e-mail communication with them last week concerning Miles Falcon Six G-ADTD. They were very helpful, including consulting books in their collection, scanning extracts therefrom and e-mailing those to me. Another possibility might be to do the same with the RAeS library in London. But it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that you’ve done both already!

Another effort to find a trace of F-AIGO –
Am looking for owners of Jane’s All the World’s Aircraft 1926 or 1927.
Anybody?
It’s too expensive to buy one (between 400 and 600 Euros:eek:) and with the risk, that no photo of Hanriot 320, F-AIGO will be in it…

Perhaps the info simply no longer exists in the public domain… maybe in some dusty private archive someone has something, but it seems the info may have disappeared in the many years (and wars) since then.

Nearly a year since my last post here – I still look for the Hanriot 320 F-AIGO

Have tried so many links, wrote several letters, made posts in different forum – but no single trace of even a tiny little photo!

And today?

supersioux, it looks like Yugoslavia produced the Hanriot 320 under license and those were the ones that ended up at El Salvador.

Do you know anyone from Yugoslavia that could help me?

Thanks.

I am participating in a thread about the Hanriot 320 at LAAHS and we had no luck with any additional information and thats why i came here…:(

Further checking of my Hanriot source tells me that the Hanriot HD.320 was made in 1926, a sole aircraft being produced! The 320 was similar to the HD.32 produced in 1924 as a prototype trainer and ordered by the French army in quantity and withdrawn from service in 1932, refurbished and sold to aero clubs and private owners.

May I suggest that you either pop over to the LAAHS website or contact Tulio over on Wixs I know he can help you out.

super sioux, i attach two photos of the Hanriot 320 of the Salvadoran AF.

In the first one you can read “H 320 TYPE 1826” (or 1926 maybe) and in the second you can see the five Hanriot 320 that the FAS had.

Both photos from FAS (Fuerza Aérea Salvadoreña) files, via Gary Kuhn and Tulio Soto.

I have just looked through Vol. 9 of ‘The Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Aircraft’ and it does not show the model number mentioned in your thread. Have you got the number right? There is no El Salvador Air Force use of Hanriot aircraft shewn although in the twenties’ and thirties’ aircraft must have been sold around the globe with no record of such transactions taking place!
