Happy 40th Birthday Newark!

Just noticed this on another forum! I raise a glass to everyone involved with Newark air Museum and wish them all the very best for the future!!

Noticed the new Anniversary logo on the home page, but missed the short set of information right at the bottom of the news page…

“Today’s our birthday
Forty years ago today [April 23, 1968] our founding members signed on the line; and the Newark [Nottinghamshire & Lincolnshire] Air Museum Limited was formally incorporated as a limited company.

In September 1968 it was also registered as a charity and we haven’t looked back since! [23.04.08]”

Well done to everyone involved at the museum where I am a member!:)
