It seems that the SAAF’s C-130BZ are now going on 50 years of service. Are these the oldest military Hercs still flying? Is there any possibility of a replacement in the near future? It was a shame the A400 deal went south, could it be revived? Could the new Japanese trans be in the running? The Chinese?
