Hi all,
Sorry for the delay but late last night we got back from four days enjoying ourselves in London including new years eve at the London Eye. What an amazing experience. We were actually advised not to go to Trafalgar Square as it seemed pointless with 100.000 people expected to be there (can they all fit in the fountains?). But standing near Big Ben and the fantastic fireworks near the London Eye (pity the photo’s didn’t come out too well) was amazing and won’t be forgotten.
Well, 2004 ended very well with a visit to Hendon on 31st of december, and the new year started very well visting the IWM at Lambeth and meeting Harry Frazer Mitchell in person next to PN323 and he gave me 156 copies of Halifax drawings. This will also be the year that NA337 will be fully assembled and on its gear again and we will have a worthy representative of a restored halifax. I also hope that that search for LW170 be successful so we can look forward to see another Halifax raised for restoration.
May you all have a very happy and healthy 2005 and also wish you every succes with all your projects and activities.

Happy New Year to everyone. I would like to get more involved with aircraft this year. I hope to help out at the De Havilland Aircraft Heritage Centre this year but if anybody needs any help with anything else aviation this year let me know, I ain’t the most technically minded but I never complain about getting dirty or doing hard work.
