Hargreaves Airways Rapide 1948 – what colour scheme?

I’m trying to establish the colour scheme used by Hargreaves Airways on their Rapide G-AIUI which crashed here in the Isle of Man in June 1948. The company was based at Elmdon.

There is a very clear b/w photo of it in the AJ Jackson collection but I don’t want to breach copyright by showing it here. The aircraft is silver doped but does anybody know what colour the registration, cheat line and engine fronts would have been?

We’ve got several parts from the wreck in the museum stores including fabric, but none of the parts carries anything other than silver paint over the original RAF camouflage.
