Harold Edgerton and WW2

While browsing another forum entirely (they do exist!), I came across the linked page on high-speed photography pioneer Harold Edgerton. Apart from being approximately as cool as Absolute Zero, he also played a role in various articles of WW2 lighting equipment, and I bet he scared seven shades out of anyone hanging round Stonehenge that night…
