Hi
Firstly I’m new her and secondly have no real interest in aircraft.
However in 98/99 my company was contracted by Sega to design and build the ‘flight deck’ at segaworld in the Trocadero in London. One part of the brief was to hang an aircraft from the ceiling.
It’s a long story but I bought ZD670 as shown in the photos below and set about stripping her out to make her lighter and then paint here in the colour scheme (chosen by Sega – Singapore flying tigers squadron) by the way the wings were from a sea harrier
The reason for this post is that I wondered what happened to her and through search engines found some old references on this forum.
I understand that Dave T has the nose section, I have many pictures from the arrival at Greenham Common which is where we operated from, to the hanging in London. I have VHS clips from news programmes of when we ‘flew’ her from Chelsea bridge.
If Dave T wants to get in touch with me I’d be happy to pass on the photos.
Cheers

wow yes please. PM sent with my addy for you.
Up to my quota here for posting photo’s myself, but you should find some recent one’s in the ‘cockpit sections’ thread. Just type in ZD670 in the ‘search’ facility.
Many thanks…..

Hi Crox,
Firstly, welcome to the Forum, secondly thanks for sharing this story and the photos. I have a request though, do you have anymore photos of the Harrier in the tiger colours as my sister is a Tiger Freak and, having seen these photos wants to paint one her model Harriers as this one. Bex
