Harrier on the M25 Thursday

On Thursday while passing Heathrow anti Clockwise I passed the very stripped fuselarge of a Harrier on a low loader. It was missing the engine and most external panels, so could not ID it. Only thing i noted when overtaking(of course my eyes were on the road officer:cool:) was the pilot name was Lt JB Hutchinson. Any ideas of its serial and recient history?
Thanks
Rob

That would be the ex USMC AV-8B leaving St Athan to a private collector in the Gatwick area. It was stripped for fatique tests before joining JARTS for training use. Cockpit and fusalge are seperated, fhe former would make an excellent project.
Can’t remember the serial, but will post when I do
