I spent most of today at RAF Cottesmore watching Harriers wizzing about and while I was there ZG500 was in the engine test facility undergoing engine runs, anyway this got me thinking, I remember reading somewhere years a go about PCB (Plenum Chamber Burning) tests being carried out on the Pegasus powerplant in order to provide the Harrier with a form of re-heat, I’ve never heard any more about the tests and wondered if anyone else knew anything about it, KeithMAc if you read this maybe you can shed some light on it, below are some pics of ZG500 that I took after it emerged from the test facility.
Regards, Dazza.
