Does anyone remember that proposal a few years ago to turn the Harrier into a high speed CSAR asset by fitting underwing personnel pods, capable of carrying a single recovered pilot lying prone? Reminded me a bit of those pods fitted over the wings of some Ju-87s in WWII. Pretty sure it was a genuine proposal, unlike this Harrier “HAR.12” …
