Harrier v/s Mirage III

In context of the sub continent in case of war it will be the Pakistani Mirage III’s against the Virat Carrier battle group with its sea harriers. Assuming that the Virat will be at the edge of the Mirage III’s range will the Mirage’s be able to take it out . I think the Pakistan’s have around 50 Mirage III’s equipped for sea strike. Correct me if I am wrong.
How many harriers would the Virat carry during war time and would they be able to defend the Virat against a Mirage III strilke package. Which of the two is a better aircraft in this context.
