Harry Poulton DFC was posted to 616 Sqn before transfer to 64 Sqn during the Battle of Britain. In 1944 he was shot down, but saved part of one of his Spitfire propeller blades which was later used as the frame for a clock.
I know one of Harry’s Grand-daughters, who has asked me if I can help trace any of his Memorabilia, which she believes was donated or loaned to a museum (” somewhere down South, near Aldershot”- her words).
Can anyone from a museum, or who knows which museum has these artifacts please let me know & I will pass their whereabouts on to her.
