I have a photograph of myself at Blackbushe Airfield taken in 1975 (give or take a year or so).
In the background is the tiny dot of a Harvard.
For a massive cash prize [1], can anyone identify the Harvard and explain how you can tell?

I’m expecting it’s not possible, but I’m ready to be amazed.
TIA
[1] Yeah, right. 😀

Ahhhhh! Any idea if its in the Uk or is indeed in Denmark? Presume it hasnt been re-painted
I’ll check G-Info when I get a moment
It was at Yeovilton for the Air Day in June. I wondered what it was from afar and was surprised to learn that it used to be JUDI.

I thought the ex Anthony Hodgson Harvard G-JUDI had its registration changed to G-TEXN by its then new owner? Its now been sold on again, last I heard it was ‘down south’ but had also heard it was in Denmark?
That G-TXAN

Follow up question:
The internet tells me G-AZSC is now based near my house and is dark blue marked ’43’ and ‘SC’.
Dark Blue Harvards seem to fly over my garden all the time. Rarely close enough to see numbers of get a photo, but this summer I got this shot:
72 on the tail.
Is ’72’ G-AZSC with a recent paint job? If not can anyone identify the aircraft?
TIA!
This is G-TEXN, the former G-BHTH (T-6G) which crashed in the mid- 90s. G-AZSC (Harvard IIb) still retains the number 43 if I’m not mistaken. It is also more black than blue.
Banupa’s photo does show G-AZSC in its civilian scheme. Here is another from Flicr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/b752/6827111516/

This is ,of course, Gary Numan’s old mount.
Here is a piece on his display flying, and thoughts on his Harvard.
”Some people at Chichester own my old Harvard. They use it all the time and it’s still in the same colours that I painted it. I’ve got a boat now, and I’ve been out in it a few times and my old aeroplane has come over. It’s like seeing your ex with another man. I might buy it back one day, though I’d need to sell a few more albums.”

On the Hampshire/Sussex border. So having identified the location of the poster, why hasn’t he published his position?
Anyway, the photo ‘might’ be ‘ZSC as it crash landed last year, but the number 72 doesn’t seem to have any relevance to numbers relating to this plane.

Thanks everyone, there’s no doubt at all, is there.
I wasn’t expecting a result and certainly not such a quick one!
Delighted.

This is probably the same one before painting at Blackbushe in 1973. Oh yes, there was a Lodestar there too….

It is G-AZSC which was based there then The scheme matches that depicted in the photo in the following link which the photographer mentions was taken at Blackbushe the following year.
