Dear forumreaders,
For many years the fuselage of EZ259 has been part of a private, WW2 vehicle, collection at Zevenhuizen, near Rotterdam, in The Netherlands. The “aircraft”, on the back of a Queen Mary flatbed truck was painted in a USAAF Raydon (checkerboard nose, yellow/black) colourscheme. Both truck and Harvard fuselage were recently sold, and should have ended up, via another Dutchman, now some place in the UK.
I am interested to learn who today’s owner is and where the Harvard is located.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Benno

Harvard EZ259
Hello forum readers,
Another year gone by. Still no trace of the fuselage of EZ259?

Benno
Hi all,
Still no info where EZ259 is? Bit surprised. Or disappointed 🙂
Things like that don’t get lost these days, or?

Hi, has EZ259 raised it’s head recently? We’ve recently obtained a pile of T-6 airframe parts and are keen to obtain a forward frame, engine mount, wing centre section and tail feathers (horizontals, verticals and elevators/rudder). Also numerous other bits. Any one know of anything?

Hi forumreaders,
Still haven’t heard where EZ259 is today. Who can help? Is it listed in “wrecks and relics”, and if yes, where? Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Benno

Hi, following on from above, has anyone tracked down EZ259? I’d be interested to hear of it’s current status.
Thanks

Harvard G-BMJW, EZ259
Hi all,
Just wondering if this one was seen last year. Or is it going to be “on public display” at one of the many WW2 vehicle gatherings when spring is there ?
All info very much appreciated. TIA

Benno

I think this is the same combo that a friend of my Dads had for a while about 10 or so years ago,I had the pleasure of sitting in it and pretending once…..!
It was taken to the last Bruntingthopre display before being sold I think.
