T-6 at North Weald in Zero c/s
The T-6 in the Zero colourscheme is now being rebuild to flying condition at Bruntingthorpe; G-TOMC, former 51-14700 French Air Force.
The other Zero, seen at Thruxon is G-BJST, former MM53795 Italian Air Force. Now painted as KF729 and awaiting certification.

I think that was another one (G-BJST rings a bell) as I understand it that one is more or less complete now. G-BJST was the one that Jeff Hawke entered into the Luton auction some years ago before withdrawing it (and others).

I saw this Harvard/Zero at Coventry in the late 80’s, I’m sure it was originally owned by Jeff Hawke and appeared in ‘Empire of the Sun as set dressing.’

Without a copy of Empire of the Sun to hand, I’m relying purely on dubious grey matter!
It looks a lot like the modified ex-Spanish AF T6 that was mocked up to resemble a crashed ‘Zero’ near the start of the movie (the one in which Christian Bale pretends to dogfight with his glider).
I think the ‘Zeros’ for Tora! Tora! Tora! were all sold afterwards, so it might not be one of those?
