“Signed Up” With Their Honour
The strangest dog-fights ever seen over Britain have taken place recently above a small town somewhere in the north-west of England. “Ancient” biplanes, Gloster Gladiators and one antiquated Wellington participated.
Known as the Soskin Squadron, these planes were resurrected by Paul Soskin, a British film-maker, who was directing sequences for the film “Signed With Their Honour”, by the Australian author, James Aldridge.
One of the fliers was a Squadron Leader who won the Distinguished Flying Cross over Greece, but the vegetable black that pours from his engine indicated that he was participating in a screen version of war, and the cameramen in tiny Tiger Moths that chase him down shoot to recapture the “ancient” battles of 1941.”
Was this film about Malta or the Middle East perhaps? Has anyone seen it?

I think there was a film called ‘Sign Their Name With Honour’ or something like that, but I cannot find anything similar on IMDb

Doesn’t appear in the IMDB, although James Aldridge does. (not sure if it’s the same one, but I assume it is).
