Has Go Virtual Disappeared?

What has happened to Go Virtual? I did a flight for them last night and when I try to submit my PIREP the site doesn’t load and I get a “not found” message. It was part of STA Virtual, along with Flybe Virtual (and Flybe’s Crew Centre won’t load either).

Thanks for the update. I really hope things can be sorted, I used to love flying for Go and Flybe.

Hi,

To start with, the bills WERE paid!!! Infact, we still have at least 6 months until we are supposed to renew.

However, here is the situation.

Our hosting company, t3hosting.co.uk, which was great back in the beginning, started to have a few problems. In the last 3months they were open, the hosting became unreliable, no support was available, and after MANY requests to unlock our domain, the company closed.

Unfortunately, as you may know, domains are locked to hosting companies at their request. This means we have to renew with them etc and can’t just go off to another company. Now as T3 is no more, it also means the domain is useless unless they push it to another company. You wouldn’t believe how many times we’ve tried to get this done, but lets just say the guy is not interested in helping.

We obviously aren’t the only ones affected, I’m sure there are hundreds of companies/personal sites which have all been lost due to the rudeness and ignorance of the boss.

We will try, for the forseeable future to get our issues resolved. At the moment its not looking good, and the biggest fear among the management who remain in touch is that the reputation of STA will be severely damaged, and it will be difficult for us to get pilots who trust us to be around for a long time.

Sorry guys, I am as annoyed and frustrated about the situation as you are.

The STA site did have problems a few months ago, but then it came back. Now it seems to have gone again but there is no info about the airlines which made up the alliance.
