Has Meteor WS807 moved ?

Been browsing through the new tome of Wrecks & Relics and noticed its reporting WS807 has moved from Staverton to Kemble (03/10) I’ve not seen this reported anywhere else and the forum search throws nothing up regarding this.
Has it happened or is it a case of a ‘post dated’ report in the book on the assumption it would have happened by publication, but hasn’t :confused:

Sorry to hear that and you have PM.
You can’t keep the Bucc on as it is?

Hi Nige, thanks for the update and clarification.

A young family and aircraft restoration don’t mix particularly well,(I know from personal experience) so your change of direction is entirely understandable.

Enjoy your family now as they soon grow up – there will always be a project to get more involved with later.

Cheers

:eek::confused:
How so nige, and what’s up with the id change?

Just got the end of my tether with it all, I’ve got a young family and I am not getting any younger, so something has to give.
I searched for 4 years to try and find someone with electrical experience, but drew a total blank, the restoration could not move forwards without one.

The Meteor is a different beastie altogether, much of the restoration work can be carried out at home, instead of having to drive for an hour to get to Kemble.

The name change is purely down to removing the shackles that became the Buccaneer Society.

…just have to get the Buccaneer sold, this will then free up the neccessary space required.

Hi Mark, she has not moved yet, but she will be in transit soon, just have to get the Buccaneer sold, this will then free up the neccessary space required.

Yes I had taken a look at that thread, I’ll PM him if there’s no news from anywhere else.

http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=67718 This thread might provide an answer, looks like Nige (Buccsociety) now goes under the name of Jetblast, might be worth a PM to him.
