Our media doesn’t go into such detail unfortunately Frank, it just says Spa in the race programme. It may be expensive (sounds like Harrogate, the spa town in North Yorkshire), but I can easily spend the day there by train, it was either that or Liege, another easy to reach place.
Sabena_A340, I don’t know yet if I’ll get chance to go to Hasselt, but if I get a spare day I’ll mail you in advance and arrange something, I would love to see your dog. It’s easy to get the train from Brugge to Hasselt, I do know that!!!

Comet – maybe you should visit Hasselt, then I maybe show you around. We make excellent genever here and you could see my dog. Hasselt is in Limburg, towards the Dutch border and not too far from Genk (I remember that you say you are a Wesley Sonck fan). Let me know what you decide.

Well, I wouldn’t recommend you that, because I think the prices will climb for that week-end (if there is place at all in restaurants, pubs, … But Event if they say that the race is in Spa, that’s not true, it is in Francorchamps, 5 – 10 kms away! But Spa is the “nice” place nearby…
And even if I won’t go to the race, I will hear the cars from home, I just need to go outside 🙂

I’m not in time to see any of the Belgian shows, I go on 3rd September. To all my drinking acquaintances in Brugge, see you all soon and get the Sloebers in. I’m also off to Spa, but thankfully I won’t be there when the Grand Prix is on 🙂

As stated above: i’ve met Ference and Frank in real life (both are absolutely gorgeous 😀 ), and i also had a conversation through telephone with Tom from ACIG (occasionally also present at AFM).
But i have little doubt i have seen more of you, and probably will see more of you guys, at airshows, spotter’s days, conventions and an occasional prison cell }>
