Have you seen these turret parts?

Dear all

I’m looking for the Fraser Nash hydraulic parts shown in the attached pics. These are needed to help complete our FN16 turret for the Whitley.

I have some turret spares for trade – if anyone can help i’ll be very grateful.

Regards

Blimey – that’s really impressive Mike – thanks very much for taking the time to put it together. I will be very interested to see the finished article.

Incidently, I heard today that the other half of our outer turret ring is ready for collection – at last!

Hi Elliott,

Far from complete, but this is what I have so far.

I might need to get a new piston rod made for my jack – if I do I can get a second one made at the same time.

I’ll try and post some pics when I get a spare minute 🙂

There is no rush with the palmer box drawings – any time in the near future will be fine. It is much appreciated.

All the best
Elliott

Hi Elliott,

Sorry for the delay.

I hope you’re not in a huge rush. I’m drawing up a rotation lock and plan to start drawing the valve soon.

I’m still in need of an elevation ram. Any information you might have to share would be great! I’m also interested in the possibility of having a second wind baffle made.

Might you have any pictures of your project to post?

Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike

Yes! These parts are on your turret! I would be very grateful for a CAD drawing for the Palmer control box – that would be great.

I have one filter from a dig, but still need another…..

I now also have the remains of a turret jack – not sure if you still need one, but I can send you a drawing and perhaps will have some parts left over as well in the future…

I will also be making the wind baffle – I think you need one of these too – maybe we can get two made.

All the best
Elliott

Hi Elliott,

Those parts look familiar!

I don’t have any spare filters, but I could possibly do a cad drawing of the Palmer firing control valve as I have one sitting on the bench at the moment.

Cheers,
