When the USN was developing the goshawk,they considered reengineing with the Garret F-124-GA100 which has a better thrust to weight ratio,higher service life and digital control.But the project was already delayed by extensive redesign,so the defence dept killed the idea.Later RollsRoyce developed there own high service life/digital version of the odour with the odour900.Are new hawks being ordered with this engine?
