I think the Fury was the FB10 so it probably reflect the standards to which the aircraft now conforms. As has been said, many of these aircraft are rebuilt to a standard far from the original build, including folding wings, as here:

Her history shows her to have had a chequered past. Having folding wings or not is no indication of her not being an Iraqi ISS as so many of these machines have been rebuilt with different parts in the U.S.

Sea Fury or just plain Fury…?
If it’s not a Sea Fury why does it have the designation FB.11 which is the model used by the Fleet Air Arm? The Iraqi Fury’s didn’t have this designation as far as I’m aware…
Also picture shows the aircraft with folded wings so it’s either not an Iraqi Fury OR it’s been retrofitted at some point in it’s past:

The Sea Fury originated as the Fury for the RAF which was a Tempest based “light fighter” but the type was cancelled and development for the FAA continued with the Sea Fury as the navalised variant of the Fury. However a small no of non-navalised Furies with the wing fold deleted were built for the Iraqis (the Fury ISS or Baghdad Fury).

Why is it described as a Hawker Fury and not a Hawker Sea Fury?? I was expecting to see a picture of a biplane!!
That’s because it is actually a Hawker Fury, not a Sea Fury. It was built as a Fury for the Iraqi Air Force.
Cheers,
Richard
