Welcome to you Mike,
Give our regards to the guys at HHA, I am still looking out for some mundain items for 885, but things seem to be sparse at the moment, may have something of note by the end of the month, I will keep Mat informed.

SU22 is in airworthy comdition with less than 800 hrs on the clock. She is regularly maintained to a strict schedule, ground run and taxied. SU is an ongoing project with plans in progress for the future.
That’s an intriguing prospect. Are the CAA on board, or has it not yet gone that far?

Its up to the owner but I think it is available for shows, you’ll have to chat with Exeter about that

ah yes, that links better!! as I said the a/c looked great, and it certainly brightened up my afternoon, made a change from the Beech 200’s which had been circuit bashing all afternoon… I was quite suprised when i heard ATC warn one of the Beech’s that there was a ‘civillian Hunter’ behind him!! I had to make my excuses and wander out of the office at that point to have a look..
I’ve not seen the a/c before.. dioes it do much in the way of airshows or does the owner just use it for fun??
Neil.

Yes that’s probably right. I think the jet was based at RAF Leeming, but it may have moved.

HHA Eng – Welcome to the forum. You’ll find we’re a friendly bunch on here.
Quick question regarding the Su22; is it HHA’s intention to maintain her in airworthy condition (obviously with the CAA’s consent)? I can imagine such a beast being quite a head turner at some of the major shows, but also hellishly expensive to operate.

Welcome and thank you for letting us know what is happening.

HHA are working with the CAA to get the Bucc certified to fly here.
Not sure how long it will all take but hopefully it will soon be flying.
If the CAA say yes to XX885 flying then the Bucc that was with DeltaJets might be coming back to the UK again.

Looks good so far, i know its new but the text on the menu buttons did not appear for me, i suspect this is a problem with my connection
damn nice anyway to know Hunters are still able to zip about :). How about the banana jet does she fly as well? I am still yet to see one of my top fav jets in the air 🙂
