Just spotted this….
Not sure if anyone else has posted this – cannot see it anywhere. Apologies if old news.

Good luck with the Spit Tangmere…..
Lets hope the £8.000 does not reflect the buyers full economy, so we can look forward to another fully restored Hurricane, maybe even airworthy.
Oh, by the way, will it be at……….nevermind.

I just can’t see that this REALLY was sold for that price. On the other hand….a brand new penthouse flat in Brighton today slashed from £485,000 to £320,000. In the same block, flats reduced from £285,000 to £165,000 and other new houses elsewhere in Kent and Sussex have had £60,000 knocked off price with a new car, luxury holiday and Stamp Duty all paid. So….a Hurricane for £8,000? Maybe. As one financial commentator said “Forget today’s bounce. The drop from a bounce is often a long one. The pain has only just begun” Pessimist? Moi? Not a bit. I am holding out for my £25,000 airworthy Spitfire I 😀
