Looking at getting a book on the Hawker Hurricae – looking in the airport WH Smiths, ‘Hurricane : Victor of the Battle of Britain’ by Leo Mckinstry looks good, has anyone here read it, or other books focusing on the Hurricane, and any comments?

Uncle Melv’s book is terrific (he signed mine 🙂 ) and I would also recommend the SAM Publications Datafile (if you can find a copy – I bought mine from Dave Collins at Newark earlier this year!)

Thanks for the update on Hurricane books, I must be slipping- two! Hurricane books I hadn’t heard of until now:
“Hurricane : Victor of the Battle of Britain” by Leo Mckinstry
“Hurricane-The Last Witnesses” by Brian Milton
The Haynes manual still isn’t available in Canada yet, looks like all three might be a christmass present to myself…
