I assume the Hurricane, like the Spitfire, had IFF destruct equipment. In the Spitfire it was mounted in the cockpit on the right hand side and normally had a red ‘DANGER’ flap over the top.
Where were these items situated in a Hurricane, assuming they were fitted,
I have a flap cover but its different from a Spitfire. Can anyone identify it. Is it from a Hurricane or something completely different?
There is a number stamped on it which is R3003

Agreed, the Hurricane IFF buttons were fitted with a cover very similar that was marked R.3002, later on this lettering was replaced with an F. So this rules out the Hurricane.

It will be from something with a 24v system. R3002 = 12v, R3003 = 24v
So not Hurricane, IIRC?
