Hi All,
From a recent copy of FlyPast I see that Hawker Hurricane P2902 (G-ROBT) is nearing completion at Hawker Restorations.
As I’m based in Australia, it’s a bit hard to come by information on the restoration and I’d appreciate any updates that anyone may be able to provide.
I wrote the story of its pilot, Sqn Ldr K.B. McGlashan AFC some years back in a book titled “Down to Earth” and I’m keen to travel to the UK to see the aircraft fly again. I am also in constant contact with his widow who is equally interested to learn more.
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers
Owen

Some lovely roll-out shots of G-ROBT – taken late last summer but only just noticed them on the HRL website 🙂

Hi Owen,
I was in the Hawker restorations workshop in the summer [ I built a Le rhone radial engine for their Egyptian scale model plane ] and took a few shots, so I will fish them out and send them to you.

Hi Owen,
For starters see Hawker Restorations website then perhaps contact them direct, especially with your link with the book – a good read.
