I’m part way through a Hawker Hurricane cockpit restoration but am finding it exceedingly hard to source original parts.
As with most historic cockpit restorations what you see in front of you ie the instrument panel and assorted instruments are generally available. Its the fiddly bits in the cockpit on the port and starboard side that are hard to find.
Items such as
Elevator wheel sprocket and fittings
Slow running cut off
Landing light operating lever
throttle lever with friction dampner
radiator flap control unit lever
Undercarriage guard stop (red)
main and reserve tank selector unit
Flap indicator unit
FC joint
map case
I’ve plenty of spare control column items to trade but can’t source original items. The question is, does anyone know of anybody out there who makes good Hurricane replica items ??
I’ve attached a couple of photo’s out of interest
The first is photo is the column I’m using in my project whilst the second and third photos are a selection of spare parts that I have.
For sum reason some of my photos appear upside down.(sorry)

I manufacture quite a lot of reproduction WW2 era aircraft parts, but I would need drawings or a pattern piece to work from.
