Hawker Hurricane's Return to North Weald.

A few shots from today’s Hurricane pilots reunion held at the ‘Squadron’ at this famous former Battle of Britain Aerodrome.

It was great to see four Hurricanes together again, albeit on the ground. It was especially nice to see the Shuttleworth Sea Hurricane making a rare appearance away from home.

If you pass a large pile of cash to a gentleman in Suffolk I’m sure your dream can become a reality….

We really need more airworthy Hurricanes. It is possible to put together a squadron of Spitfires from UK examples alone (I think) wouldn’t it be nice if the same were possible with Hurricanes?

Very nice images indeed, I particularly like the ‘worms eye view’ in the fourth shot. Thanks for sharing!

How often do we see the pilot gripping the ‘stick’ during a fly-by, Gary?

Outstanding!
