HRL are very active and busy on both Hurricane restorations – they just get one with it without a lot of fuss – which perhaps make it looks like things are a little quiet – far from it!

Ok, does anyone know how they’re getting on with their Hurricanes and their SE-5A?

Thread drift approaching….. Reference was made to Hawker Restorations this morning in a progarmme on Radio Four at 11:00. Short clip of an interview with Tony Ditheridge was included. Programme was about the origins of plastic surgery, covered the work of Sir Archibald McIndoe (spelling??) at East Grinsted.
Good programme, worth listening to, had it on in the car by chance. Available via BBC i-player.

Wheels Up Landing?
I wasn’t aware of any such incident, where and when did this take place.
I know about the little incident when it tipped on its nose not long after its first flight, but otherwise……………
