With the stash of Hawker Hinds having been passed on, the rather wonderful web page HawkerHind.com appears to be no more. Could some kind person please remind me where these lovely airframes now reside?
Thanking you,
Anne

Hi all the site is not gone I am having some issues contacting my host. As soon as I can get hold of them and pay the bill it will be back up. The Hinds have not been moved to Kemble yet but hopefully that will take place fairly soon. The plan is still to update the site with the restoration progress at intervals, time permitting. I will also finish the story of the recovery if I ever geat the chance. All in all it should be very interesting. Will update when the site is back online :o)
Splendid stuff, looking forward to its return.
Thank you,
Anne

Excellent! I look forward to seeing the site back up.:)
I stumbled upon the other hawkerhind.co.uk site whilst looking at all the things I would like to have, but don’t have the money for on aerovintagespares.com. 🙁

The .co.uk site is Guy Black’s, for L1781
The .com site was Pat Chriswick’s, for his Afghan recoveries, and does indeed appear to be sadly defunct.

Ah yes, that appears to answer it…but didn’t the .co.uk site pre-date the .com site?
Now where did I leave that spare £350,000? Oh and that £70,000 extra that Mr. Osborne would be asking for?
