Headcorn Battle of Britain airshow Saturday 30-06-2018

Very much enjoyed the airshow in one of the prettiest airfield locations in the southeat of England.

The last show I went to here was in 2015. Then the wind was in the other direction and aircraft were taking off right to left. This time, they were taking off left to right which meant that anyone wanting take off pictures had to grab them between parked aeroplanes. However this did not affect my photography too much.

A very warm day but relatively humid free and a nice breeze.

I have not seen a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire flown so well for a long time during a display, coming toward us then pulling up vertical then over on to its back before rolling right way up. Also, a couple of victory rolls and quite close when topsiding passed us.

Unfortunately, I could not get any victory roll pictures sharp enough to show. Will try again as soon as possible at another show.
