Headcorn Combined Ops 17th & 18th August 2013

This years show will see the unveiling of Lashenden Air Warfare Museum’s very rare Fieseler Fi103R-4 Reichenberg (piloted V1 Doodlebug flying bomb) which returned to Headcorn Aerodrome this week after a 5 year restoration in Germany. The “flying bomb” will be displayed in a marquee at this years show for the very first time since its restoration and is likely to attract plenty of attention.

Confirmed for this years Combined Ops so far:

Alan Garside in the PiK 20D Glider.
The Turbulent Display Team.
And Classic Wings DH Dragon Rapide G-AIYR giving pleasure flight…

It’s a good little event, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! I visited Combined Ops for the first time in 2012 (indeed, that’s one of my photographs on their website…) and had a cracking day. Very good value, considering the low entry fee.
