Heads up, Aeroplane tyres Hanningfield/Stock may be of some use

I have noticed some aircraft tyres poss WWII vintage like Whitley etc slick type its between the A12 and where Hanningfield Metals used to be they are behind a green netting type fencing where the ,Jehovah Witnesses, are putting in a new road I think to the massive new development there at Temple Farm its the main Chelmsford to Billericay road.
I was once told that the wood there was littered with WWI aircraft tyres but never got chance for a look (and just like buried Spitfires) I dd not go hunting

Yes the woods are full of ww2 era tyres, but also Hanningfield metals had no disposal policy for tyres, some found themselves the other side of the fence; completely by accident of course!
