As mentioned in an earlier thread from March, tonight is the first showing of this new documentary about the proposed glider escape from Colditz Castle. Featured sequences include glider flying from Cambridge GC earlier this year, opening of some famous tunnels within the castle, and the glider build itself.
Tonight CH4 9pm for 90 minutes.

Just to fllow on from BlueNoser352 request – I’ve just been informed that the US format version of our programme will air on PBS on the 14th May 2014 titeld Escape from Nazi Alcatraz. I dont know a time I’m afraid, but thought I’d give it a heads up!
