Screening on Monday 31st of January 2005, on Television One in NZ, from 8.35-9.50pm.
This is the story of New Zealand surgeon Sir Archibald McIndoe who pioneered plastic surgery within his specialist RAF medical unit, enabling the reconstruction of the faces of burnt pilots and aircrew.
There is also a small article in the TV Guide dated Jan 29 To Feb 4

Actually at present on the History Channel there’s a doco on Jack Northrop.
Lots of footage of N-9 and XB-35/49. Absolutely brilliant stuff !!!
