Heads-up: War in the Air DVDs

Yep, two papers to buy today.

Unfortunately they’d run out of Mails, but there were still a few DVDs left, when I finally rolled up to Tesco’s yesterday evening.

So I’ll be going a bit earlier today. 🙂

I’m planning on making a donation to the RAF Benevolent Fund [click] this year, because they’ve been particularly helpful to me recently. I’d urge everyone to take note of just how much they do for everyone who’s served in the RAF, even if for just one day. Whether it was yesterday, or 1st April 1918.

Equipment for disabled people, even modestly disabled, is notoriously expensive, yet they gladly help in any way they can.

Yeah, I saw that one. I thought it was First of the Few?

My brain’s beginning to hurt. Either way it’s worth getting:D

So, to summarize:

you either buy a Daily Mail each day (today and Monday to Friday next week) and visit WHSmith or Tesco each day to exchange coupon for the six DVDs

OR:

you buy four Daily Mails during that period and send off four tokens and a cheque for £5.99.

Good value I reckon – although I’m curious how they divide 15 half-hour episodes into 6 DVDs??

Yep, you have to pick it up from certain stores – usually WHS, Tesco’s, etc. There seems to be a run of 6 or 7, so it’ll mean going to one of these stores each day. But there may be an option to get them delivered – best to get the first one and look.

Seems like a nice little set.

Something about the wording of the ad made me wonder if it was actually with the paper, or had to be collected from a store such as WHS or had to apply through the post (both of which always turns me off) – maybe I’m wrong, as I wasn’t really listening.
