Hearing rumours of an engine issue with XH558?

Apparently they have spare engines with enough time left to get it back to Doncaster where it will remain until the airport closes through lack of use, is then sold for housing and the Vulcan is scrapped. Possibly.

You’d better reactivate the silica gel first, give it more soaking power………………

What’s needed is a big bag of silica gel to soak up all of these rumours………..

There was a similar rumour last week, that did not prove to be correct.

However with anything like this there is always a possibility that they go tech – watch their website for updates!

If they have not indicated an engine problem it probably isn’t true, is it?:)
