Hi,
Myself and A330Crazy took a trip to Heathrow today. The forecast seemed to be good for today, so met up this morning for a few hours. According to the BBC, the weather would be sunshine with some cloud around. Within an hour of arriving, the cloud built up and up. Before we knew it, it was overcast and it looked as if it might rain. Fortunately, it never did. Anyway, it was a great day (my thanks to Andy) and here are just a selection of photographs. You’ll notice they go from aircraft in nice light, from when the weather was great, right the way down to the not so good light!

A brand spanking new Airbus A321 of Aeroflot came into Heathrow today. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a snap because I was otherwise engaged… 😀

Top notch shots. From my office I can see the inbounds when the wind is OK, like today. Unfortunately I can’t be looking out the window all day because I am meant to be working! Saw an Aeroflot 321 on Friday…..which was nice.

Superb shots Michael! Good to meet up with you again. And thanks for the EZY319 card. 😀
The Qatar and KLM shots are very nice in particular… very clear. 🙂 As yes, at last i did get to see an Aeroflot aircraft in the new livery – got a pic, but blurred it badly. 🙁 😡 lol.
I’ll be posting my pics very soon. 🙂

Fantastic shots there Michael, cant wait to get there on Friday! Gonna get to LHR pretty much for sunrise on Friday, before flying up for more spotting in MAN

Did Andy finally catch the new SU livery?
lol… I’m not sure. He was saying how everytime he gets to Heathrow, its never the aircraft or colour scheme that he wants. Today was different though – a new colour scheme and an aircraft that is only a few weeks old. Whether or not he managed to photograph it… you’ll just have to wait and see 😉
