Heathrow 4th April 10

We arrived at the hotel in the dark, got very excited when I saw an Emirates 777 all lit up 😀

Anyway, had an early night to prepare for a day of intense spotting. First thing on Sunday morning I got up, opened the curtains and…….

SCREAM!!!!!!!!

Stayed outside the hotel for a while as it was under the approach:

Then we took a walk around the local area:

Then we walked around to be right underneath the approach, and as we were… er… approaching the approach :p I saw this (apparently I screamed and ran, but as there’s no evidence, I refute these scandalous claims)

I took this one as I couldn’t believe my eyes that there were 3 Jumbos on approach together……. turned out the middle one was an A340 but that wasn’t a problem 😀
