Does anyone know when the first A380 will land at heathrow because i heard airbus were going to send one of the prototypes their to test if they can handle it.
Also which stands are being converted to A380 use. I know there are some on terminal 5 and the 4 new ones on terminal 3 but if you look at airlines who have ordered the A380 the majority of them are going to fly them to Heathrow so there will need to be some more stands somewhere.
Also does anyone have any recent photos of the new pier on terminal 3 and terminal 5 construction so i can keep up to date on construction progress.

We’ve been told April, and also that it hasn’t received UK certification yet.

Stands 301, 303, 305 and 307 on the new pier 6 in T3 are A380 capable.

March I’m told, hopefully towards the end of the month as I’m home then! 😀
Yes towards the end of the month would be good! Plenty of notice would be good too so flights aren’t too expensive. It’s a long way to drive! 😉
