Does anyone know if terminals 1,2 and 4 are going to be converted to accept the new Airbus A380? I know terminal 3 and 5 will but when terminal 5 opens and the star alliance moves to terminals 1/2 they will need to be able to park the A380 for Singapore Airlines and any future customers.
Also are there any other UK airports being prepared to accept the aircraft?

They tend to use 303 at the moment, which if you’re talking about the visitor centre on the north side is not visible. The A380 stands 301-307 are on the south of the central terminal area.
