Taken a few days ago, couldn’t have got a better day!
Departing RWY09R, already at a couple of hundred feet by the first main intersection. We are actually airborne after a take-off roll of approx 650m!

Passing the central area, already over a 1000ft!

Turning South toward Southampton, levelling off at 7000ft and a ground speed of 302 knots.

10 minutes later, lining up for visual approach to RWY08.

Short final RWY08.

Our ride.

And the rear end.

I’m looking forward to seeing these in the JP queue… Purely so I can reject them! :diablo: 😀
Nice work mate, I’m sure that Bristolian geek will tell me all about it on Sunday!

The second pic really shows you how gigantic the 380s wings are! 😮
Great set of snaps!

I agree, exceptional- thanks for sharing it!
The shot over Heathrow truly expresses just how large the A380 is in comparison to the surrounding aircraft…MASSIVE wingspan! 😀
