Hi all,
The other week I had a 3 day trip down to Heathrow with several fellow photographers. We were lucky enough to have 2 days of almost perfect light and even ended up getting a little sunburnt, something I never really expected! Awesome weather, a few interesting movements and excellent company from Dave Henderson, Jimmy Leaman, Aidan Ingham, Adam Spalding and Dan Nicholson made this probably my most enjoyable UK airport trip to date.
Anyway… A few photos, all taken with a combination of Canon 350D/30D and Sigma 50-500/Canon 70-200L f/4. I’ve been having quite big problems with compression using Photobucket, so in an attempt to try make Photobucket do less compression I’ve reduced the quality in Photoshop before uploading. Hopefully they’ll look OK but if not then ‘full fat’ versions are available on JP! (Shameless self-plug but it has to be done sometimes!)

The worlds only remaining passenger-carrying 747-100 was very nice to catch in perfect light!
