I had a very good 2 hours at Heathrow on Tuesday last week – here’s some of the results…
Royal Air Maroc 737, with Arabic titles on this side…

Air Astana 757 from Almaty – an old friend which I;ve photographed at Southend before!

Air China A330:

A Tunisair B737-600 was an unusual visitor, in place of the usual Airbus:

Now all 5 daily Emirates flights into Heathrow are operated by the A380:

Transaero 737:

The Malaysian A380 has now also placed the 747 on the second daily flight. Can’t quite understand why the front third is perfectly clean and the rest of the aircraft filthy!

SAS 737 in the Star Alliance scheme:

Vueling A320 in special commemorative scheme to mark 50 million passengers, it’s in English on the other side:

The very smart Korean 777:

LOT 737:

Ghastly new Finnair liveried A319:

The Arik A340-500 from Lagos leased from HiFly -amazed this aircraft is still flying for Arik with their financial problems:

Excellent to see a British built airliner in the form of the Brussels RJ100. The morning flight is operated by the A319.

And the KLM Fokker 70 is also a nice sight – must be the smallest scheduled airliner into Heathrow after the loss of bmi Regional.

And to finish an ‘arty’ shot of a SAS 737 in the flare above 27R.

I hope these are of interest – fantastic variety in just 2 hours.

Thanks MSR777, Matt-100, Doors4 and EGTC – glad you like them.
Excellent explanation for the dirty A380 Matt-100 – that makes a lot of sense.
Doors4 -unfortunately its impossible to determine the load factors from the CAA statistics as there a few airlines on the LHR-DXB route – but the 77 ooperated flight must have been doing relatively well for it to be upgraded to the A380. Now how will Emirates be able to expand further from LHR – be interesting to see whether they acquire any more slots.

Nice set. Very good indeed 🙂
Doors4, perhaps you’re thinking of the likes or Luxair or Adria? They all dropped LHR some years ago.

Great set of pic’s.
I had it in my head that LOT had dropped London.
I wonder what EK’s load factors are like on 5 A380s to and from DXB every day.

Fantastic set 🙂 The ‘filth’ on the Malaysian A380 looks like de-icing fluid stains, although why only the rear two thirds are dirty beats me.
Maybe the forward section is made of a different composite material which is less prone to static charging, so less dust is attracted to it during flight? Just a thought.
And you are correct, the Korean Air 777 does look very smart.

Of interest? Definately, great pics. I love the Malaysian A380, and the Arik 340.
More pics like these anytime:) Thanks for posting them.
